New Empty Casket Pieces

I've mentioned Empty Casket before as a company I love. If you don't know them they sell witchy themed jewellery and home ware. I wonder why I like it hmmm..
For my birthday I was lucky enough to receive a couple of items and like I expected I absolutely love them. The one I was most excited about was receiving a moonstone ring. I love the look of moonstones I just think they're so beautiful. I'm definitely more of a dainty jewellery person so I got a smaller stoned ring. I absolutely love the iridescent look of moonstones and I'm naturally always drawn to them. I've heard moonstones are supposed to bring out psychic traits which I think is pretty cool. It just looks so pretty. I also received a beautiful amethyst necklace which is of course my favourite colour. The length of the necklace is perfect for me as it's not to high up on my necklace. I'm getting more into my jewellery at the moment, everything is just so pretty.

I've never really done a post talking about what I do at university. My course essentially is what the name says, I make costumes. And I cannot tell you how much I love it. So with the end of my university experience looming I'm trying to cram everything in and getting stuff done. Some Summer Wardrobe Inspiration

 

With the mini heat wave we seem to be experiencing currently in England it seems that everyone's getting that summer feeling. Now I have been severely slacking on the outfit front lately as I'm not feeling very comfortable with  my body right now shan't lie. So to get more inspired I decided to look on the ever so lovely Pinterest and try and get some inspiration as to the type of thing I want to 'rock' this summer. So here I've collected some outfits I've fallen in love with (with of course a bit of Gossip Girl style chucked into the mix). There's so many nice things I want to get my hands on.
I am beyond excited as I have booked my Reading festival ticket for this summer!! I cannot wait :D as missing it last year killed me!!

Bags are something I'm quite fussy about. My collection like most things in my life is always growing. I've been on the hunt for a new bag to use for uni and general errands. Now I never pack lightly, if I could I would take everything I own and the kitchen sink out with me. So for an over packer like me size definitely matters. I also felt like it was time for me to pick up a black bag. I've had a nude coloured bag from New Look for nearly two years now and while it's done me proudly I think it's time to depart when the lining of it has mostly changed colour from the crap it's had to carry. So gross.

 Camel is a staple colour right? It's a colour I associate with coats more then anything. I think it's a very classic colour seen in a sophisticated women's wardrobe, something that I never describe myself as.

21st Birthday

 

 

So I've reached the big 21. Yesterday was my birthday and I reached the age where your supposed to become an adult right?? Time has gone so quickly lately that it didn't even feel like it was my birthday. I'm excited that now I feel like my life is just about to start and get real. But then I miss that freedom of being a child/teenager and I guess not having as many responsibilities. No more teenage years ahead of me, now the days of being old are upon me. Seriously that is what majority of people said to me yesterday.

21 is seen as a special birthday and I was truly spoilt and am so grateful for everything. I may do a post on the presents I received in the next week or so. I didn't do anything too crazy as majority of my family were working or had plans. I spent the day at home and then went out for a meal with some of my friends in the evening. They surprised me with a birthday cake, queue my face going a deep shade of red.

I realise as well I didn't get any photo's of me, the day went by so quickly and I was so involved with catching up with people. So I may have stolen a photo from my best friend's Instagram haha.

Well here's to adulthood starting and becoming a 'woman'.

Primark Fitness Goodies

 

I have one of those problems where as soon as I have money to spend I don't want to buy anything. This was the case on my most recent shopping trip to London with Caroline (she doesn't need an introduction as I have mentioned her several times aha). It was an early birthday present trip as we were originally supposed to be seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but due to the fire that's recently happened the show was cancelled (so typical!).

A New Chapter

Life is a funny thing. There are highs and lows. I am a person that unfortunately tends to focus on the negatives. However yesterday (31st March) my families life changed and was definitely a high point. I am officially now an Auntie. It's such a strange feeling knowing that my big brother is now going to be a dad. I still think of us as kids mucking around wrestling in our house and now he has a kid of his own. We're not a family that express our feelings often but I am so proud of him and his fiancé. It's also the first time I've ever really been around a baby (I have no idea how to handle a baby aha). I'm so excited to create brand new memories and start my auntie duties.
